Conway Bikes
Responsive web design
My responsibility: UX/UI from start to finish
For Conway Bikes, I was responsible for the entire UX/UI design of their responsive website – from the initial concept through wireframes and clickable prototypes to the development of the interface and overseeing the implementation. In doing so, I combined the design of individual pages with the development of a reusable design system.
I worked with two developers, a Scrum Master, and a Product Owner. Within this team, I was responsible for user guidance, visual design, and the consistency of the user interface.
From requirements to tangible designs
Together with the product owner, I defined the requirements and translated them into wireframes, mockups, and clickable prototypes. This made the structure, navigation, and interactions visible early in the process and allowed them to be discussed within the team.
In regular Scrum sprints, I further developed the designs, incorporated feedback, and aligned the design with the implementation requirements. This ensured that the design remained an integral part of the ongoing development process.
Responsive design with a clear brand presence
I designed the website for different screen sizes and translated Conway's visual language into a cohesive digital experience. Large-format bicycle and lifestyle images showcase the products; clear typography and prominent action areas structure the content. The responsive design extends this aesthetic to both desktop and smartphones.
A design system as a common basis
In parallel with the page designs, I developed a modular design system based on the Atomic Design principle. Reusable components and page structures were created from basic UI building blocks. I documented these in the style guide so that design decisions were transparent and usable for development.
The system gave the team a common basis for implementation: consistent design, clearly defined building blocks, and a structure that can be expanded for additional pages and functions.
Result
This project combines responsive web design with a documented design system. My contribution covers the entire UX/UI process: structuring requirements, visualizing solutions, incorporating feedback, and overseeing implementation alongside the development team.

Style guide and website
The style guide I developed documents the design principles and reusable UI elements of the project. It illustrates how I translated the Atomic Design principle into a concrete system for collaborating with the development team. The project website complements this insight into my work.
